Psychological support following a workplace injury

A workplace injury can affect much more than your physical health. Psychological difficulties can develop following a traumatic event, workplace conflict, bullying, harassment, burnout, or other experiences at work.

I provide psychological treatment for adults experiencing work-related psychological difficulties and PTSD, including people whose treatment is funded through workers compensation.

How I can help

I work with people experiencing:

  • PTSD and trauma following workplace incidents

  • Anxiety, stress and low mood

  • Psychological difficulties following bullying or harassment

  • Adjustment difficulties following a workplace injury

  • Difficulties returning to work

  • Sleep difficulties and hypervigilance

  • Psychological distress associated with chronic pain or physical injury

Working within the workers compensation system

I understand that accessing psychological treatment through workers compensation can sometimes feel complicated.

Where required, I can communicate with relevant treating professionals and rehabilitation providers and provide appropriate treatment updates and reports to support your recovery.

My focus is on providing evidence-based psychological treatment while helping you work towards recovery and improved day-to-day functioning.

Getting started

If you have an accepted workers compensation claim and are looking for psychological treatment, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss whether I may be an appropriate psychologist for you.
